1 arrested with narcotics in Darhal

Rajouri, Mar 21: One person was arrested with narcotics at Darhal in Rajouri.

Police said that a team of Darhal police station area was on routine naka checking at Ujhan- Rakiban. On seeing the police men a person coming from Kassian side towards Rakiban tried to run away suspiciously. But he was chased by naka party and detained.

He disclosed his name as Aijaz Ahmed son of Abdul Majeed resident of Rakiban Darhal. Police said six grams of Herione like substance was recovered from his possession.

On this a case FIR no 15 /2024 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered.

The arrest has been made by police team under the supervision of SHO Darhal Habib Pathan and SDPO Thanamandi Viqar Rasoo.
