Personal security officer (PSO) of a senior National Conference leader, who was critically injured in a road mishap on Ganderbal-Kangan road on Tuesday, breathed his last today. 

Muhammad Aslam Pakhtoon, 42, son of Ab Rahim Pakhtoon of Wani-arm Wangat Kangan was critically injured when he was on way to his  duty in his personal car. 

The car that he was driving skidded off the road and turned turtle near old power house Ganderbal resulting in critical injuries to him. 

He was rushed to SKIMS Soura where after undergoing surgery he breathed his last today. 

Deceased was a selection grade rank policeman of 8th BN IRP and was posted as PSO at the Srinagar residence of NC leader Ali Muhammad Sagar. Sagar rushed to the residence of the deceased at Wani-arm Wangat Kangan for condolence and led the funeral of the deceased cop.  Police have taken cognizance of the case.
