Jazim Sajjad, student of Tyndale Biscoe School studying in class 10 was awarded Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the 3X3 Basketball championship tournament organized by the Sports Council and played at Indoor Stadium Srinagar.

The final of the event was played between All Stars from Tyndale Biscoe School and Dabbers from Burn Hall School. All Stars defeated Dabbers by 21-9 in which Jazim scored 10 baskets alone. The organizers appreciated his skills and scoring capabilities in the game of basket ball. Jazim is emerging talent in basketball in the State who has already represented J&K State in two Under-14 national tournaments in Chattisgarh and Talengana. He is seen as a bright prospect in basket ball.

Prof Bashir was the chief guest on the occasion while as Dr Zeenat, Sheikh Tulal, Mushtaq Zargar and members of the district association were also present on the occasion.

“Last time, more than 100 participated and this time we got overwhelming response for the game,” said basketball coach Mir Mursaleen.
